Skill needed: the ability to do the following movements
Raise arms above head occasionaly
Pinch fingers together
Use fingers to twist a stick very quickly
Bend down to pick an item up off the floor
What you will learn:
The different parts of a spindle and how they are used
How to draft fiber to determine thickness and eventually consistency of your yarn (comes with experience)
Twisting spindle the same direction each time
Park and draft spinning
Winding your singles onto a storage device
Plying from two singles the opposite direction than you originally spun the singles
Wind your plied yarn into a hank and tie figure-eight ties
Washing your yarn
Setting the twist through thwacking or snapping

A little bit about staple length and wool types, how that affects your spinning
How to avoid felting your wool/yarn
